Mic quality not good… need help!

When I make calls through Bluetooth or Apple CarPlay, my voice on the receiving end is clear, however, they hear a clicking/clacking/galloping horse noise. When they speak to me my speakers are crystal clear, no issues. There seems to be an issue with the mic itself or the placement of the mic. I have the car turned on, but not moving and it causes this issue. What’s the solution? A new mic and possible new position of the mic? I’m still under warranty.

Update: it might not be the mic but rather the wifi being on. When turned off the clicking noise goes away. Next step is figure the solution.

My 2014 Cruze did that. Nobody could hear me in that car, regardless of phone. Eventually traded it in on another car for my kid
