Me and my bud represent well with our BVM and his Krypton Green. He was wearing that color way before Chevy came out with it and when I saw it, I hit him up and told him he had to get one. I searched high and low and he found this one in Virginia.

Again, nice to be recognized by your peers and not pissed on and told it’s raining!

That's one pretty sweet color. Never seen or heard of it before.

a friend of mine had a 2014 RS in blue ray.compared to my 2015 RS in blue velvet metallic the blue ray is just a hair darker, but you really wouldnt notice unless they were side by side.BTW BVM was available in 2015 but rare then too.

I know I’m partial but I didn’t see anything better and those with Gen Six’s were coming to me looking and inquiring on my build and giving compliments. Again, nice to be recognized by ones peers and confirmation of rigged systems in car shows.

We know how to present at car shows....

Trust me, i feel ya. One if the reasons I got out of the car show scene and sold my nut and bolt restored, pro touring LS powered 65 Chevelle that I designed and built (minus the body and paint which had over 800 hours of labor alone). Unfortunately, judged shows are often rigged with the trophies going to friends, friends of friends, family, etc. Who are cliqued in with the promoters and judges. I've seen it far too often. Countless shows with trophies going to cars of much lower caliber and often to the same people year after year. After a couple of years on the show circuit, I stopped and had way more fun at local non judged cruise ins. Then I sold it at Mecum on TV and bought the Camaro as a weekend driving fun car. :-)

Anyway, tastefully done Dude. I usually dont think new cars deserve trophies, but yours looks great. You took a stock, production line car and made it look like a different car but as if it should have come from the factory like that. Amazing what a good choice of wheels, tires, moderate aero tweaks, and suspension will do. This is what the 2019 refresh should have looked like. Lol

They both came in second?

It might be somewhat rare, but it has a small audience who would pay more for it I think. I saw some in person and was a bit underwhelmed with the color myself.

I like the color. It's like black with bling. Lol it's basically midnight blue.

Sharp!

Maybe an M6 Velvet Vert would make a good partner car for my A8 Garnet Coupe.

Was it an extra cost color?

Thankfully it wasn't an extra cost color.

When I had my Red Jewel Tintcoat, I saw the sticker on it and learned it was a 'Premium' color of like $900. There were but only a couple of colors that fell into that category. It's on the sticker as an extra charge. The BVM fell into the same category which I don't get. It's part of your offering, so therefore it shouldn't be an extra cost to the consumer. Rare as it may be, but only so many will be painted this color and therefore the buyer availability is limited. RJT was a 2010-2011 color for the 5th Gen and then they came in with variations like Garnet and Crystal Red Flash. Now Blue Velvet was a one year deal for the 6th Gen but was offered a couple of years for the 5th Gen.

Probably the last show for the season. Hope to get it out next week for a cruise down to Brown County to see the Mother Nature’s Fireworks with the colors of the changing leaves in the trees and lunch with other Central Indiana Camaro Club owners.
Oh how this year went so fast!

Thanks! One year only, 2016 and I’m good with that! Changes color and hue with lighting and angle.
