I received a call yesterday from vaspeed and they spoke with Mike at Whipple and guaranteed a shipping confirmation for the entire kit today. They said I will be scheduled to drop off my car for install on Wednesday. I'll be updating this thread today once I see that confirmation number.

What made everyone here go with the Whipple I'm still deciding between the Whipple or the Pro Charger P1SC-1. Kind of leaning towards the Pro Charger

They all have there good points so I'm not going to knock any of the others. From a performance they all seem to do quite well. This is a new model for Whipple so there isn't a lot of people with them yet (I only know of one on this forum).

Me personally, I like the whine of a Whipple. Whipple and Pro Charger have two different power curves because of the style of configurations. Whipple power kicks in quick which can result in whiplash, new tires, and maybe some PTSD. Pro Charger has a gradual power curve which would probably just require new tires.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there only a 10hp output difference between them and $2000 price difference

Out of respect for this build thread lets just stick to the topic please. There are lots of threads where they discuss pro's and con's.
Thanks.

Great, that was about 30 days from order to ship. Would have been better the other way around...lol. That puts me at 3-10, plenty of time to paint the splitter (if that ever get here) And of coarse 80smedal (like myself) see light at the end of the tunnel. Pics, vids please. I have Whipples, Elderbrock and Maggie manuals memorized, but can't see any problems (do it different) till I get into mine. Keep us posted. Please Sir.

I wonder how much of that weight is in shipping cartons and packing, heavier than I would have thought.

Here is an example of how they are going to document mine. This is them putting in a Maggie. Looks like a very very conservative tune though. I'm also looking to have dyno vids before and after.
