I've got a CVR 10" sub in a ******** box. I also have a 10ZX400.1 that I'm taking back along with their 750 watt wiring package due to buying a multichannel amp that will replace the factory amp all together and power the sub.

I've never had issues with Kicker products, but I'm not a fan of their component speakers. Their subs rock, just not a fan of the smaller products.

The same can be said about any namebrand product though, especially in car audio.

My personal opinion is that of all the namebrands, Kicker is one of the best. From the amps, to the wiring to the subs, they are hard to beat! The speakers are a bit bright for me, I'm no fan of metallic tweeters, however, they can be tuned and sound excellent.

Kicker will almost always get a big thumbs up from me!

A bunch of my buddies have kicker in their cars n sound great! I always had Kenwood everything in my cars but my Kenwood setup in my Firebird was not as good as in the past. So i decided to try Kicker everything in my Camaro.

I've had great luck with Kicker products. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Although I'm in stillwater where the Kicker Headquarters is, so I've always been a little bias. lol

Love Kicker <3 They sure can take a hit. I've had kicker amps and speakers for every car i've owned in the past and they are pretty orgasmic. Im now in the process of installing an entire kicker system into my Camaro. (Subs, speakers, wires, amps, you name it) My husband is MECP Gold (Advanced) and he loves them. I always purchase my products from best buy for their warranty. I used to work for them in the past for several years and cheat the system; At anytime i want to upgrade, i can just bring them in and say they no longer functioning (For certain products they cant test in store) and exchange them for a system of equal value or just pay a little extra for something better. Ill check back and let you know how the entire system worked out if interested.

There is something about the sound that doesn't do it for my preference. My wife loves them. I'm sure with a good sound processor (something new to me) they could be made to sound very good. I'm kind of biased toward Hybrid Audio Technology stuff right now so I'm sure that is playing a late part of my thought process.

As for the sub, mine is installed in the box and the grill cover is in place, bit that is as fa as I have made it with my install.
