Tuning for e85?
Do you need to have e85 fuel in the tank to get a flex fuel tune? Assuming the flex fuel kit is installed of course. It's hard to get where I live, so I'm planning on buying a drum of it eventually, but I'd like to do it separately, as that is alot of up front cost.

Nope not required... You set the flex sensor tune up on 91-93 first, verify the sensor is working and reading the 10-11% ethanol in the pump gas, then add E85 last.

bring it in with just over 1/8th tank of 93 octane in it and bring 10-15 gal of E85 with you. ya he will do the 93 tune 1st then drain what's left of the 93 and put the E85 in. You should ask your tuner what he wants you to do. this is what mine wanted me to do.

Unfortunately, no, piecing all of my parts togther and installing it all at once, headers, hptuners etc.. I'm hoping to order the rest of my parts this 4th of July, depending on the sales going on. As soon as I do, I'll post a review, trying to save money and have been waiting on deals and haven't rushed too much as these parts are pricey lol. Gotta pay to play heh. Does anyone have any hints on who's going to have the best sale this year?

best way to go all at once. you should get a base dyno run. I always wish I had when ever i mod a vehicle.

Yup, already have it, it was a very happy dyno. Stock I had 423 hp, a year later with a rotofab and secondary cat delete I only had 413 at lsfest. I'm still going to go back to the happy dyno though, since that's there I first got it dynod.
