Thanks ....so I'm assuming same for the RS Turbo?

Probably best to ask this in the I4 LTG forum, one link down from this one

Do you know what extra modifications I need to make to make the rear brembos work on my 2.0 Camaro?

You can refer to this thread here for pertinent information, from early 2017:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=480579

Several posts there go into the details of what is different and what might be required - I will say however, that as far as I am aware, no one has actually attempted these mods to make rear brembos work.

No bueno, I'm afraid. These are the same as the standard SS rear calipers, but in red - these are sold for SS owners who upgrade to the 6-piston fronts, so that they can have matching colors (base SS calipers are grey). You will have the same issues outlined before with the parking brake setup being different.

You have quite a few options believe it or not. Atleast compared to the V6 Platform but they have a working E85 Tune I believe with HPTuners.

Safe, Aggressive or In-Between? That's what this boils down to ultimately. Also your in for a hefty money sink as you have a 2017. If you have an M6 I didn't look sorry your a little better off but for an A8 your spending 8 Credits ($400) plus $200 TCM Unlock. With an M6 it's Just 4 Credits ($200) This doesn't count the tuners time.

SAFE: Minimal Impact Gains Just Better Powerband Access

ZZP Tune (HPTuners)
IPF Tuning (Proprietary Software Locked Tune)
BNR Tuning (HPTuners)

AGRESSIVE: High probability of blowing your engine or something else without forged internals.

RPM Motorsports (AZ) (HPTuners)

In-Between: Safe to Daily Drive with Enough Power to Perform on Stock Internals.

Vermont Tuning (Proprietary Software Locked Tune)
Trifecta Tuning (Proprietary Software Locked Tune)
Dannytech Tuning (HPTuners)

Mystery Box Option: Custom Results for A Custom Experience.

HPTuners Dyno Tune (Any Decent Local Tuner) - This option will take multiple tune revisions to dial in properly but the best overall for your build.

Less then $500 however it also seems they have discontinued this part and the kit is back up to $2000 everywhere else so I would contact them first and find out if they still have the old stock still in stock.

Upgraded my front brake to the 4 piston Brimbos in the front. I tried to put the rears to match, but as above they are no bueno. They are only for the SS with standard E brake not electric.
The GM websites you go to and put in 2017 Camaro LT and 3.6l click on accessories and then brake kits the 4 piston red calipers comes up and in green at the top "This part fits your 2017 Chevrolet Camaro" they are blowing smoke up your you know what.
Thanks to Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet in San Diego they hooked me up vary happy.

Doug,
They look good. Have you noticed any difference in braking?
I have the same setup that I will be installing as soon as it gets a bit warmer out.
What did you do for dust shields?

Thanks,
Steve

Since I had 54,000 miles on it I had a little vibration when I pushed hard on them.
Its vary smooth and at speed is when it's better, now I keep looking behind me and hope the guy behind is paying attention and not on his or phone.
But I did install the sequential lights and there brighter.

I have a 2018 LT v6 with 20 inch wheels/tire package (Eagle F1 asymmetrical A/S). I upgraded to the stock SS rotors, calipers, and pads. The dust shield was the same. The expansion line seems different between the LT and SS. I just used the stock SS lines to be sure. It’s all incredibly simple. The hardest part will be bleeding the brakes. I recommend you have a shop do it for less than $100 bucks and install the hardware yourself. Otherwise you’ll pay a shop 3 hours labor for the installation. If bleeding the breaks is not an issue for you, then you can easily do the conversion in less than 3 hours. After installation the braking performance was significantly better. Now the tires are doing their job without being held back by the stock breaks. I’ve also noticed a slight heft in the steering feel. It might be the extra weigh of the rotors. This is a great upgrade! And I believe it’s a necessary upgrade for anyone that likes to drive fast. Upgrading the stock pads alone isn’t enough.
