The factory all season 245 do not hook at all under full throttle in 1st or 2nd gear.

The 245s are fine purely in the winter, but you won't be using much throttle on them, they break free real quick.
I swapped up to 285/30 Firestone Indy 500s and the traction difference is unbelievable.

I am guessing that the $599 is the "Dealer Fee." I know dealers can ask whatever they want now for the mystery "Dealer Fee" due to the market. I never pay it. I have walked many times out on a deal due to that nonsense. Sometimes they have called me back and waived it and sometimes they did not.
Bottom line and most important, get what you want and what you can be comfortable with the overall purchase price and/or monthly payments. Sure everyone wants a ZL1. You stated maybe getting a supercharger. Food for thought though. You appear to be looking at a LT1 or 1SS. I have no idea what a supercharger costs. I am just guessing here but say around $6-7 grand plus installation unless your a do it yourself person. Their quote for the car alone is just shy of $39000. Add the $7k to that and that puts you at a loaded 1SS and pretty close to a 2SS. Best of luck in your purchase. |

I have posted this about my orders but my deliveries before so here is a short version. 2021 2SS 1LE ordered early Feb of 2021, delivered over 7 months later in Sept. Ordered my 2022 ZL1 in Feb. 2022. Arrived 7 weeks later. The wait does suck.

Not certain why you’d wait on an order unless you’re extremely specific about what you want as far as options. I’d do a search for what’s in stock or en route to dealers. I’ve recently seen what looks like an increase in 22 Camaros on the way to dealers. At least here locally….

Buying used I compromise. New, I don’t. Color wasn’t negotiable, manual, 1LE, all non-negotiable. I did get lucky and find it on a dealer’s lot though. No waiting.
