Subjective question...What are your must have options?

HI Everyone, I am about to put a down payment within the next month on a 2021 LT1.

What are your must have's? I Know the NPP is popular and highly recommended. What will make or break a deal for you in terms of options?

Interior...Exterior options etc...

Just looking to get the best value vs cost for my money.

Thank you!

Jason

Just the A10 was my must have. I had the NPP and red calipers also.

v8. m6. what else is there?

pretty much everything else can be easily added or modified by the owner. unless you are talking 1LE things as the rear dif and seats might be expensive.

Moonroofs have always been a must have for me, and with the inverted Mohawk roof you can’t add one aftermarket. So you’d need to decide if that’s important to you before you order it.

If you like the sound the dual mode exhaust is nice but since it doesn’t add any hp I’d probably have passed on it if it wasn’t on my car on the lot. You can put that money towards a REAL aftermarket performance exhaust which will give you the sound AND the real performance boost if you really want it.

I just bought a 2021 LT1 and traveled 3 hrs to get it b/c a dealership had the exact options I wanted (and one that wasn't a must have, but nice to have).

Mine are:

Must haves:
A10
NPP
Technology package (bigger screen and comes with a little better sound system, which doesn't really matter to me.. but bigger screen was a must have)
Satin Metallic color
Split spoke wheels
Lip Spoiler (came with the RS package my car has but you can add separately)

Nice to have:
RS package (this seems to be a little pricey for what it is, I like everything it comes with.. but still a little on the pricey side for this option to me)

Now if I could just find someone with the rear wheel SS split spoke wheels that would like to let them go at a reasonable price..

luckily i didn't have to consider anyone who carries a purse, so moonroof was never on the radar.

i don't know that id ever try to add one of those anyhow. seems like a bad idea.

The one I bought is actually the exact options I wanted, down to the paint. 1SS 1LE with black bow ties (illuminated front is a bonus actually). Upgraded knee pads to leather and I'm set.

He’s looking at an LT1, so BSM, leather, and heated/vented seats are not available to him.

2SS (Leather, Heated/Vented Seats)
Vert
M6
NPP

Drove 600 miles to get it like I wanted it. I would not have bought the car without any of the above.
