I was at PRI and would way rather spend those kinda dollars on Howe car that saw there!
Truck rear suspension? Yeah I'd pass. So Moe has ASA car at days I go plus a couple of 5th gen Camaros that are Howe cars with LS3. Used for 50K. |

They use a Watts link in the rear so seems to me they have a "truck" suspension as well NB i had used a Watts link on my old Stang and i gotta say the car handled well and was very predictable even with TC off (there was no Stability Control back then and with TC on the car was undrivable even in the wet). Obviously both Howe and Hendrick know what they are doing and the latter is as good as one can get racing pedigree wise without spending multiples of the price. Cheers! |

I think it's very cool that they are making a car for the public to buy, and track worthy. That was filmed at CMP , a track in South Carolina that doesn't get the big name credit but it's very fun!

If you like Nascar and you like road racing what's not to like about this.
I think its kind of cool. If you could afford one and are the kind of person with toys why not? |

I've seen the completed cars and the one they are currently building. It is a full racecar with full safety. The maintenance cost with the LSX crate engine should be fairly low. Tires are cheap. Suspension is fully adjustable. The build quality is top notch and the Hendrick Team treats you more like a Pro-Driver than a one-time customer. The car is fitted to you. If you ever hit something the body panels are replaceable vs. a totaled unibody car. Weight is 3100 lbs dry.
It's not cheap, but compared to a new ZL1 1LE and a full race setup it isn't bad for what you get. I like to drive my track car on the street personally.
