Custom Corsa Extreme ZL1 catback installed!

One of my fab buddies at SS Motorsports in Clovis CA finally had a lift open to build my 2017 ZL1 Exhaust. I wanted a complete system, so that I could remove the OEM catback in one piece. So I bought a Corsa Extreme axle back, and a ton of 2-3/4” SS bends. When removing the OEM system, you also ditch the secondary cats as an added bonus! System came out great, exactly how I wanted, and it bolts/slides right into the primary cats without modification.

Sounds deeper and has less of that “Corsa rasp” than I was after honestly. It sounds like a slightly deeper, and louder NPP tone when on track-mode IMO. I have barely driven it so honestly I don’t even have a great idea about how it REALLY sounds myself lmao.

Here are some pics, and I’ll eventually upload a sound clip or two.

Looks awesome! Did you loose the x-pipe or does that pass through?

I don’t understand what you’re asking. The new exhaust has a custom X pipe, there are several pics I posted of it including a close up.

The pic looked as if it was just welded together

Oh no, there is a super clean oval that joins the two pipes. The idea behind an xpipe is pressure equalization between the two banks, not to Flow a ton of air.
