"Service Stabiltrak"

Hey guys,

Today when I was doing some driving on a "Private" road, I was flooring it and as I am in 3rd gear, nearing 90-100mph, I get the message "Service Stabiltrak" (Keep in mind I was driving with just T/C off, ST on) once this popped up I backed off the throttle and after a few seconds it went away. Can Acceleration alone set it off?

Should I be concerned? I have researched and found too many different answers as to why this message pops up. Maybe a sensor? I have also heard ECU?

There are a lot of things that can lead to that message..unfortunately all you have told us is that you got a "service Stabilitrak" message while flooring it in third gear......if you have searched like you said you have....then you would know that that message can be produced by a lot of things....maybe some more details about your mods and tune would be in order. Or even how it was tuned.

Yes you should be concerned.

Start by inspecting plugs and wires, a misfire will make the light flash.

Misfire can be caused by weak wires, cracked spark plug, low fuel pressure which caused lean condition.

Ted.
