For those who haven't seen it yet...

There's a baseline chart to compare to other IM

Test 1 is bare head

Test 2 is head with Trinity intake attached, out of box

Test 3 is head with Trinity intake, ported by Pray Performance.

Come to your own conclusions with this information.

as mentioned previously, in this thread, i did not install it after measuring the intake runner. currently a bolt on car.

laynlo - i plan on h/c/i for this car soon. btr originally said there would be other runner options for this manifold. now they are "gauging interest", which in my opinion, means there won't be any more runners coming out. at least nothing for 99% of na guys.

i figure i'll put the manifold next to my LT1 & LT2 on the shelf and let it sit while i order a high ram & vfn hood.

Let me know what they say about turnaround time on the hood. Definitely something I’m gnna do this winter.

In the post above if I read it right it makes basically the same power ported as the Hi Ram. Unported its a little lower in stock form. Thats the way it looks to me. The MSD is the lager and barely better then the Lt1 and Lt2 ported if I read it right.

I just got my VFN hood a few weeks ago and finally installed my 105mm HiRam and 103mm Katech TB at the same time. It took 15+ weeks to arrive btw despite being quoted 10 weeks and that feeling like forever alone. FML

It looks and fits great, but I was disappointed to find out the crossbar in the back touches/rubs the top of the 105mm HiRam which is the whole reason I bought it in the first place. I cut out a big square notch(6"x4" ish) in the cross support of the hood to help it clear but judging by the powder coat being rubbed off on my intake it still touches. I'm guessing its when the motor moves around, as it seems to just barely clear when closing the hood in the garage now.
