It's a damn shame that GM did not alter the LT2 intake to be able to be dropped onto the LT1, especially knowing how little needs to be done to put this intake on a LT1 Camaro. Easy button to jump power numbers on Camaro LT1-equipped cars for the last 3 or so years of it's production...
Agreed. Kind of like they did throwing the LS6 manifold on the LS1's starting in 01. It seems that when GM started getting serious about the mid-engine C8 they said to hell with the Camaro and they feel little need to advance it.

What's the largest TB this manifold will allow for? Is there much material in the snout opening that can be removed to make a 4" TB even worth running if it would fit?

Prays ported version will fit a 103tb. Not sure about the base version.

That's really good actually. I was worried that it would be like the LS6 manifold and flow really well, just to then restrict you on the TB diameter.

When I first bought this car I said that it basically has a Vette tax on it meaning it was expensive to mod, but if we can start getting parts for a reasonable price that make noticeably improvements for the $ we invest in these cars then it doesn't stray far from what a Camaros been.

This intake looks like a great deal , if you use a 103 mm tb do you need a different cold air intake tube ?

I may just call my dealer today and put in a standing order. They can put it on backorder and they will at least wait it out and not cancel my order.

If I have to wait till september that is fine. At least I will be in line.

I'm pretty sure it will fit. I just decided not to do so.
