Makes me wonder if a cap to the side mirror button (round button) on the drivers side door would look ok. That bastard vibrates all the time and the simplest solution is to have something able to press down on it slightly with some foam/felt.

I hit the traction button by accident the other day. I really like the idea. Reminds me of the cover Lambos have for the engine start button. I'd consider one that looked of higher quality.

Curious as to how you are doing the hinge? Resin doesn't hinge like plastic can. It would have to be two pieces.

Right now I’m just 3D printing the hinges like a normal hinge works. It is 2 pieces with a metal rod going through it. This is on a cheap 3D printer to make mock ups and get a final design down packed.

Once this one is done how about a cover for the 4-way flasher button? I've hit it more than once and I can't see the Indicator lights blinking because of the position of my steering wheel. Then I finally clue in that the clicking sound I'm hearing is not part of the percussion on the stereo! LOL!

I know a company that we use as a supplier at work that could potentially print these parts in SLS nylon. The surface finish feels like a textured plastic and the nice part is that it doesn't have any layers like a FDM printer. Unfortunately the shipping is quite pricey but if enough people are interested we could split the shipping price to all people...

I could also sketch the hazard button cover for anybody who is interested.
