Question PS4S high road force is this common?

Tires fit great but high road force above 50 on 3 tires. Has anyone else had problems finding round tires on the Michelin PS4S? Fronts are 275s and rears are 315s. They are ordering another set of tires and said i can drive it for now at least.

not gonna lie. I had to google it...
not sure I'd spend the coin but it's a real thing....
got a gut a tire shop could be ordering many tires to get a set that is "balanced" for some customers.... not sure I'd want to be selling that as it could skew profit margins.

I'd have shop check wheel to see if they were still round / balanced before sticking a tire on them and saying it needed excess weight to balance out.

Most likely.. wheel is bent.

Wheels are perfect we checked them before we even mounted tires. Just wondering if anyone had problems with this tire model.

what were your road force numbers if any? I would like to get below 25.

They should be on the sheet they print from that fancy-schmancy Hunter road force balancer, but I typically don't ask for it either...

My buddy who is an MB tech mounted a new set of SC3Rs on my stock ZL1 1LE wheels for me. First one, road force was very low, but the next 3 all were 40+. I'm not sure what to infer -- he thought maybe the wheels are slightly bent or just imperfect from the factory. Could be the tires also. Not sure. The wheels have been tracked, but they've only got 5k miles on them.

He said the road force numbers were high enough that rotating the tire on the rim wouldn't make much difference, so we carried on.

TBH, I'm not worried about it. He wasn't either.

I take it that a normal spin balance came up just fine?

I bought some cheap chinese tires for my winter SUV a few years ago (for the summer) and no matter what I did, how many times I balanced them, they still wobbled at highway speeds. Never again. I have PS4S on the Camaro and they are great.
