You have offered nothing to refute this.

6th gen setups, on avg, are significantly higher price up and down.
No, YOU have posted one single link. I've given boucoup evidence and all you've done is drone(pun intended) on and on about your lies. Here's more evidence of your lies regarding "axle backs are 50% more" and "6th gen setups are *significantly* higher price".

http://juicedmotorsports.com/2010cam...rla_11788.html 5th gen ATAK axleback $730
http://juicedmotorsports.com/6thgene...rla_11923.html 6th gen ATAK axleback $793

http://juicedmotorsports.com/2010cam...rsa_14968.html 5th gen Corsa Xtreme catback $1225
http://juicedmotorsports.com/6thgene...rsa_14773.html 6th gen Corsa Xtreme catback $1825
As I said earlier, Corsa has the wildest range of price for hopefully similar 5th to 6th gen systems. But still not close to double the price!

http://juicedmotorsports.com/2010cam...er_817495.html 5th gen Flowmaster American Thunder $646
http://juicedmotorsports.com/6thgene...er_817744.html 6th gen Flowermaster American Thunder $565
6th gen is cheaper here!

5th gen Magnaflow Competition catback $1531
http://juicedmotorsports.com/6thgene...low_19337.html 6th gen Magnaflow Competition catback $1586

http://juicedmotorsports.com/2010cam...p_7024409.html 5th gen MBRP catback T409 $980
http://juicedmotorsports.com/6thgene..._s7032409.html 6th gen MBRP T409 $1155
Don't forget the 6th gen catbacks from MBRP only come in quad tips and have tuned j-pipes for just $175 more!

Once again, a Borla 3" 5th gen system is only $200 cheaper than the same 6th gen system.
http://juicedmotorsports.com/2010cam...la_140348.html 5th gen
http://juicedmotorsports.com/6thgene...la_140690.html 6th gen
$1725 is nowhere near double $1567. Maybe you can check my math there?

On a side note my shopping skills would beat on you like a rented SS but that is not the point.
Why would you compare MSRP? Are you going to pay MSRP?

Then those numbers don't matter.

You say you have better shopping skills but then you keep bring up MSRP like you're really paying MSRP.

MRSP is a base line. It eliminates variables. Discounts, sales, and retail price vary to wildly to compare manufactures pricing.

This is something that you are to dumb to understand or you just don't want to because you like to cherry pick.

Well just like anything else supply and demand. This bares true with any new gen regardless of make or model. As time goes on, parts become more plentiful, the popularity and amount of cars goes down for that gen. Other factors come to play of course. So as such parts will become cheaper. When a 7th gen comes out, can gaurentee that 6th gen will become cheaper and 5th gen even cheaper. Economics 101. lol
