Exhaust Cost

Why are the 6th gen aftermarket exhausts costing nearly double or more than the 5th gens? This does not make sense to me. My 5th gen was a 304 3" catback for 900 shipped and I thought that was a bit much. Now you can't even find a 304 for less than 2k. WTF is going on?

Most of the more expensive systems are the ones retaining the NPP valves. You pay a premium for that set up. There are some very fair priced systems if you know where to look. Check out the Solo Performance system, the MBRP stuff is priced decent and we have some other options that work with most budgets. We're also here to make sure you guys get the best prices so hit us up before you order.

Also, the factory NPP system sounds pretty decent when you add a set of long tubes. It make a lot of sense to add the headers and get the extra power to go with the rumble.

I paid about $1700-1800 for the Borla ATAK NPP axle back and the x-pipe which are 304 stainless.

I went axle back it's about the only way to save some on the cost and it's still outrageous, NPP retention or not.

I ordered coated kooks with cats for $1600. I don't know about everyone else, but just a heads up, it seems to take forever to get a set of headers. I have been waiting 30 days and it rdp still hasnt shipped it.

Even systems w/out NPP are in the 2k range. Its not the NPP.....
The only reason I can find for this is Capitalism Cash Grab...

And most things stainless steel got 25% more expensive in the last 18 months... so the typical tail in the product price lifecycle had been delayed/extended.

Then you're not looking very hard for a reason.

Its because people pay it and nothing else. You stop paying it and the price will come down or they go out of business.

Y’all know Borla actually reduced the price of their stuff right? Lots of people complained and they listened.
