If you could choose a color?
So, if you could choose a color other than what GM offered on this car what color would it be? My buddy is fixing a black one he bought wrecked at copart and he has to essentially repaint every panel of the car and was complaining that he thought all black, that it currently is, hides some of the awesome lines of this car. He asked me so Im asking you guys?

Black shows the lines and the swirls. A well done black will make GM black paint job look almost brown.
If already paying for a good paint labor I would go crazy with the actual paint color and tints in clears etc.

Man, this is a tough one. I'd have to see each one in person to choose. I have black and it looks fantastic, but I also love AGM and really dig white and red as well. Silver doesn't crank my engine as much (just have never been into silver cars..), but probably looks great in person!

Have to agree with you. GM black isn't as deep of a black as most other manufacturers. Maybe the number of black top coats is less? After seeing my certified Z/28 for the first time it looks like it needs a glaze or a wax to temporarily deepen the black after every wash. |
