I'd be interested in knowing the weight difference. I can't remember the actual weights, but when the C7 added the drop top, the weight difference was surprisingly small. With the way they designed this, it looks like a much better setup than the 5th gen. I might even be interested.

Wish those pics were from the same angle, but you can tell the 6th has a more fastback roofline to it. I would like to see how big the rear window is.

Not a vert guy but they did an amazing job on the design for the 6th gen vert. On a slightly unrelated note, the comment section on the Jalopnik article is hilarious yet quite disturbing how many people trash the camaro.

That is exactly what I am thinking. I HATE verts. but I am actually taken back by this. I will wait to see one in person to make the final call. The main reason I hate verts so much is cause they look so stupid with the top all bunched up behind the seat and a soft boot to cover it all looks ridiculous. Taking a play for the vettes hard toneau is a nice move IMO.

The pictures are too small to tell, but it looks like they somehow managed to make the rear end of the convertible top a lot smoother and sleeker. It follows more closely along the original lines of the hard top. I'm not one to be a vert guy, since as others mentioned, they tend to look like an afterthought, but this looks good. Usually verts make it look like the car is wearing some weird baseball cap or something. Call me crazy, but I think it'd look even better if you blacked out the A pillars.

And i wonder what month will the vert be available. I'd love to get one next spring (April) if that blue will still be available
