ZL1 bumper install

Got a respray on the bumper due to some rock chips and such and when I got it back, bumper looks good but i noticed a splitter end cap wasn’t positioned correctly. I figured the clips weren’t installed or some other minor issue and I fixed it myself. Then I got to looking and noticed the soft support “bar” (its plastic) behind the grills is a bit loose. I’ll likely have to remove the bumper to fix this, but before I did, I’ve been looking at parts diagram to anticipate the fasteners (found it) but can’t find any bumper mounting instructions. Anyone have a good bumper install sheet, website, or video? Thanks in advance.

Lethal Camaro has a decent front bumper removal video. The ZL1 bottom fasteners are a little different, but it is obvious.

Saw that but wish there was more detail on the soft crush support. It’s the best I’ve seen so far for sure

The soft crush support is just sandwiched between the cover and the crash bar. It is in there loose.

It is not attached, it rests on two supports on the grill. Like others have said it is sandwiched in between the bumper and the frame of the car/crash bar. It will move some.

Appreciate knowing that. Thank you. Saves me from ripping it all apart! The lethalgarage video makes it seem more secure for sure.
