Anyone ever heard this sound? '19 1SS Auto NPP Exhaust

Hey everyone, first post on the forums. Anyone ever heard this sound coming from seemingly the exhaust on gen 6 camaro's?

Specs:
2019 Camaro 1SS 10 Speed, NPP Exhaust

Here is the video in my Google Drive with the noise. It happens randomly, when driving at any speed, braking, or as shown, even parked and idling.

She's with the dealer now, still very much in warranty (hopefully dealer says the same). I will report back with what they find!

That sounds horrible! But it does sound like it is coming from the NPP exhaust actuators. Probably a simple and quick fix.

Exactly. Started randomly as well, no track time, no sudden hard braking, etc, etc.. We shall see!

Sounds like something is loose or broken. Definitely -not- what you want to hear!

That may be the worst sound I've ever heard coming from underneath a car. Was that with the engine running?

Good luck. I would think the service rep could find that.

Yes, engine running in Stealth exhaust mode. Noise definitely was more likely to happen in stealth mode, so my theory is the added pressure of the valves being closed is causing something to rattle internally. Again, no issues at all with power or any other system on the car. No lights on the dash, no codes, etc..

No Bueno. Should be no problem taking care of it under warranty.

Maybe a baffle in the muffler or maybe the valve actuator has stripped gears.

Whatever it is, it should be covered under warranty.

That is the exact same noise I was talking about in the other npp rattle thread. It happened to me about 5k miles ago. Dealer replaced one of the actuators but it just came back again. Really frustrating.

I have a couple of working actuators that I'd be willing to sell if anyone needs them....

Dealer confirmed it was actuators. On BO so I picked up the car, and am waiting their callback once they receive the actuators and new seals. All under warranty

put in in sport/track mode and pull fuse 51 (well, it's #51 for my 2016 anyways). That'll prevent them from trying to close.

Thanks! I was going to do this for the time being, and I'll confirm that the fuse is the same on the '19 before I start pulling.. LOL

Pulling the fuse won’t fix that issue. I tried and it still makes the noise. The actuators have to be replaced
