Auto Club Speedway track day (now with 100% more 911 and Ferrari)

Great day at Auto Club yesterday. It was my first time there and honestly,it wasn't one of my favorite tracks but I'm glad I went because running the Roval was pretty fun. I went into turn 1 at around 145mph but was to scared to try and keep it there so let up a bit and kept it at about 120mph through turn 2. In the first session there was a 1LE that I had some fun with going back and forth.

This is the third session when I started getting my consistency down and actually had some free track to work with. It was fun tracking down the 911 and the Ferrari. I had an off at the end when I overcooked it into the turn when the pads were starting to overheat. I definitly needed some track pads (I'm running the stockers) and better tires.

This is also my first track day with the BMR springs. Honestly, the balance didn't feel as good as the stock springs so I really need to get their sway bars. I was tight in and loose off all day compared to the stock springs which felt very balanced. I'm sure with the adjustable BMR bars it will be much better. Enjoy!

That's awesome Eric. I am so envious of you getting on that banked oval. How fast were you taking her to? Do you lift at all on that turn? That looked like so much fun, man. Fast driving, brother.

About 145mph just before going into the turn but I was to chicken shit to flat foot it. I let off and braked slightly down to about 115mph-120mph going through the turn and then accelerated out of it. Maybe if I would have had some Sport Cup 2's I would have been braver

Awesome!

I was out in Lot 6, participating in my first Autocross. We actually took a ride around the paddock in my friend's M2 while we were on a break and checked out all the cars, we were wondering what the event was on the big track.. now I know!
