Dash trim

I will try to explain this best I can. If you look at the dash there is a trim piece that I have circled. I noticed when the sun hit that trim just right I saw some vertical(Up and down) wave or indentation along the trim. If you run your finger along this piece you can feel a bit of indentations sporadic similar to the yellow markings. I looked at other cars and appears to be normal. Has anyone else noticed this or confirm this??

Hi!,
I haven't noticed it on my 2017.. but I think you have noticed the plastic molding machine signs left during the ignition procedure..

See you!!,

Mine is like that too. Only has one dent in it though. I ordered a new trim pannel after a freak 6 pack of beer incident that scratched it and the glovebox.

Haven't had the time to install the new one yet but it doesn't have the dents in it.

I second the plastic molding process. Happens more often than you think.

I haven't noticed on mine but I'm sure they're there.

What is that piece called. It looks like you have to take alot of the dash apart.
