There's no pertaining update from GM about this so what you're experiencing is either due to the reset or some other alien forces, haha.

This issue is a bit mind boggling. I can understand GM protecting the drivetrain from a hard launch, but why set the torque management’s threshold so low that it’s on the edge of kicking in when pulling away normally? Obviously, if this many owners are experiencing bogging this often, it’s a legitimate issue and should be fixed. A software update can’t be all that difficult or expensive, can it? I’ve been seriously considering a ZL1, but dealing with a driveability problem on a daily basis would get old.

My 11/18 ZLE is very much an on-off issue with the offz-idle bog/hiccup. Most of the time it is great. Smooth and easy to drive, even though a tall 1st gear.
I have never revved it and dumped the clutch. I don't street or drag race. My issue...when it happens, is simply a quick-rev up when releasing the cutch normally, and thrn an immediate drop so low sn RPM it stalls or nearly stalls. I believe this is simply a software issue. I don't think it is the torque management...as l've not revved the engine to cause the TM to kick in. I would get it if that was the case, but l'm talking about normal street driving. I bdlieve a bad throttle body shape and too low of an idle setting are contributors. MLEE was going to get with some of his contacts and compare his '19 software to the '18 to see if there are any differences, but l haven't heard anything back on that. At my next free oil change at the dealer l'm going to have all the TSB's addressed...l'll check with him for any updates. JJ

i have a TM TB and still have that annoying dip if i blip, IMO it's software and I'd bet money people with an aftermarket tune aren't dealing with it.

I had the same blip issue on my C7 with a TM TB. This time around I went with Katech TB and do not have it on my ZL1. Might have been a fluke but just saying.

It was 3 months that he hasn't had the car. So perhaps he is just driving it completely different since he got it back or he went that long without it that it just feels like the bog isn't there. I was stuck driving my X5 for about a week before I went on vacation and then I was away for a week. So when I got back I finally drove my ZL1 and it felt faster than it ever did before. It wore off after a couple weeks tho. So I'm thinking it is all a mind trick.
