I can't believe they got rid of Pitt Race, I'd really like to know why...

Nice that the people at SCCA scheduled the Texas date same as a previously scheduled NASA TX TT event at Hallett. The SCCA event is at the newly renovated 2.7m Eagles Canyon track. And of course June in Texas is very HOT!

Yeah, I was disappointed to see that as well. I guess we'll have to run Nelson Ledges.

The SCCA is pretty responsive to feedback. Jon Krolewicz is the Time Trial Program Manager (jkrolewicz@scca.com). Shoot him an e-mail.

You may also want to check if regional SCCA clubs are running any Time Trials at Pitt Race or other tracks in your region.

I ran one Time Trial with the SEDIV in conjunction with their legacy Time Trial races. I enjoyed seeing the GT class races.

I ran the NE Ohio Regional Time Trial at Nelsons last year and took 1st Overall, so I'll definitely be going to the National there next year. However even with the repave Nelson Ledges facilities are horrible and I don't understand how it can get a National level event over Pitt. Must be something else going on. I'm talking grass paddock, gravel paddock roads, sketchy track edge drop offs, bathrooms aren't much better than a porta john. Not to mention it is nowhere near the caliber of race track as Pitt. No elevation, only 1.8 miles, only 7 turns if you ask me...

I've emailed Jon a few times and yes he is great at getting back to you, but as I said there must be some underlying reason here. I really hope they don't nix the TNiAs from Pitt Race too.

Great videos Scott, thanks for posting.
TT Nats this year were awesome, it was fun to see some footage from them.
I too am going to miss PittRace this year, but looking forward to Road Atlanta, have not been there yet.
Hope to see you and the others there.

Looks like the CMP TT is still on according to the site. There are quite a few Camaros signed up.

Anyone from here? Other than badmojo

I'm considering signing up. Just hate how much CMP messes up tires.

Anyone going to June 6-7 Eagles Canyon Raceway Decatur, TX.
New track layout just completed at the end of last year and a blast to drive
