To all our friends, old and new:

We had a wonderful time yesterday!

Twas the day of the Meet and Greet
And Tusk couldn’t wait
Awake at 6:30
And cones out by 8

FredKayce showed up

To lend him a hand
Only to find all was ready
And a Camaro flag on stand

The rumbles of engines
Started rolling in early

Shaking the windows of the stores
And turning heads big and burly

A narrow miss by a PT Cruiser

Reported one convoy set
They were led by our “Cone King”
The infamous WhisperJet

From all directions they came
All directions but one
None from the Gulf
And all were ready to run

Gearheadcount: 42 !!!!

1 1968 First Gen- Yellow

2 1969 First Gens- one black and one blue

2 Corvettes (friends of Camaro- bowties always welcome)

37 2010 & 2011 5th Gens

5th Gen Color Breakdown:

6 Inferno Orange Metallic

Our Peopleheadcount at lunch was 70 !! We Packed the Pub!

Our resident Martian (MrvnMartian)
Traveled 220 light years (miles) to get there
Did he bring the PU36?

Or did he leave it somewhere?

Our Military Service/Camaro5 members
Graciously made the trip :flag2:
On the day before his deployment
One chose our fellowship.

Thank you all for your service to keep our homeland safe
To his bride, I think I speak for all of us when I say,
If you need anything during his deployment,
Just give us a shout. We will be there right away.

We ate and we talked
We took pictures and vids
We all watched the firemen
Like fascinated kids

We jumped in our rides
And cranked up for the cruise

We hung out the sunroof
And I got a bruise!

We saw sand and surf
We made lots of friends :party0048: :party0038::party0048:
We can’t wait til November
To do it all again!

Tusk and I were talking about what a great circle of friends this is becoming.
We truly enjoyed every one of you.
It means so much to us that this group is so 'family friendly' too.

WhisperJet….better start planning for the first of the year meet!!!

Should have the video by tomorrow. Still editing it.

That PT Cruiser tried to put me in the medium, but with my driving skills I managed to escape with no damage. Good thing there was no cones out there. Its been 11 days and the new splitter is still on.

First meet for the new year we will be going to Vegas, who's up for a cruise.

I'll try to come up with something. Tough act to follow from this last cruise.

LOL Mimi must have been bored when she wrote that poem! Great job Tusk and Mimi putting this together. I really enjoyed the cruise and watching heads turn as all those Camaros took over the road. Also was great to crash that Porsche party. I dont care if they can go 180 MPH, they still dont sound as cool as American Muscle!

Hey everyone look I can visit you guys from the desert lol. I just want to say thank you to everyone for the support and thank you Mimi. I wish I could have been there for the November meet. When I return I would like to set-up another Destin meet to kick off the summer. But stay tuned for that I have quite a few months for planning. Thank you again everyone for your support.
