Better Dust Boots?
Curious if anyone has already gone down this road already. I am rebuilding my front calipers with the vented pistons (J57) (Thanks RUQWIKR) and looking at dust boots. From what I gather the OEMs are rubber, but ZL1?ZLE? are silicone?GM (19207044)
I see Zeckhausen sells the StopTech grey silicone boots (not confirmed that the seal OD works for our application) https://www.zeckhausen.com/catalog/i...ath=24_213_214 Also read in the comments that the Centric kit (143.35037) uses the "grey" silicone boots? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000IY9M5C...ustomerReviews Not sure I even need to go down this road with vented pistons but looking for opinions and experiences. |

There’s a thread somewhere about the Racing Brake boots but I do t think they got good reviews and they are a bit expensive.

I went with the Centric kit. They have the grey silicone boots sold by StopTech. We shall see how they do
