I would say put the car on Sport and use the Performance Shift mode , it's very good, on that mode the car will keep the RPM around 4,700-5,000 which I think is perfect to roll because is not too low and is not too high to a point where you need to shift very quick when the race starts. On that mode you don't need to shift manually and the car will hold the RPM until you either start the race or you change the mode back to Tour. As far as the PSI of the tires, depends on what kind of tires do you have and the temperature down there in Mexico

Really only people putting out your rwhp can answer. Your car compared to stock is night and day. You will have to experiment for your set up.

Ok, so I’m taking the nanies off.

Setting tire psi to 24.

Im going to try and down shift manually but keep it in auto. I really hope once it’s time
The trans shifts itself? I’ve never done that before.

And when filming all this adventure in "Mexico"...don't show all the street signs in English.

It almost makes others think it's not really in land of the tort illas.

Like that would ever happen...

Hahaha!!!!

Strangely enough where I live on the US side of the border is pretty much tacos at every turn. I am 20min from the border and 40min from South Padre Island (if you ever heard of it).

I tried this while I was on the track and it didn't shift, it hit the red line and stayed there instead. Maybe I was doing something wrong

However this works perfectly!

Don’t get these dudes to start a major war. First rule of this message board is never talk about which transmission is better.

Obviously no one can out shift an automatic. However, a good manual driver who is good with the “no lift shift” feature on these cars can make it a drivers race. Tip the mods and HP balance even a little in favor of the manual car and the automatic driver will get a big surprise.

So I won one and lost one. The one that I lost the meth was spraying intermittently. No problems took place as my tune is set to pull timing in the event. Pretty much both races they left on 2 and I’m pretty sure I left on 4. Lol!

Had fun.

I agree, and for the record, indeed there are some dudes with mercury limbs out there who can get very close. The A8/A10 can shift in about 0.175-0.200 seconds, which feels almost impossible for a human to pull off, but 0.3 s per shift is not unfeasible with NLS.

What I'm not 100% sure is how different the torque management setup is between the M6 and the A8/A10, that could also be a factor, since there's no way around pressing and releasing the clutch on the M6, which alone can trigger some power reduction. If only this software were open source (I know, I know, but one can dream, eh).
