Glad I’m not in the market for a new Z06!

Even if it were priced 25K less, the previous ones were too expensive as well. The Corvette buyers don't seem to mind. Vettes have always been in another universe. Good luck to the new owners.

I can’t wait to see how a dealership finds a way to mark it up to 200k

and you get the same tech that services a Chevy Spark.

At these prices GM really needs to break out the Corvette brand and have its own service centers, trained techs, etc.

Well I guess they have to recover some of the money they lost from all those tornado damaged ones they had to write off and smash!! But that really sucks they want so much for them. For that price I would own 2 other special cars over the vette!! lol.

The only thing that surprises me is that some of you folks are surprised! I remember reading that they would be in the $130K range depending on options. Remember, this is a special "niche" vehicle. I just wish they would make a no a/c, radio delete, etc. minimal equipment version for guys like me.

I thought it would be close to $90k. The problem I have with this is it pushes it up to 911 GTS or 781 GT4 territory. At that price point not so sure the it won’t be a 911 or GT4 that goes next to my C7 Z06 in the garage.

Well I'm a bit at a loss for words so I'll try my best. I feel that the vette program is a bit lost. I understand their need to compete on a world scale, but they have bastardized their tradition in doing so. The vette has become a bloated confused mess.

Not that I am surprised at the asking price, but working towards that price I would want better recognition, ala Porsche or even Ferrari. The vette would have to be a stellar performer at the top of its game before I'd commit to spending for one. Chevrolet has proven that they are capable of such performance, so we shall see.

not at all surprising considering it's performance. it's competing with cars much more expensive.
Honestly wouldn't have been surprised if it was 120K
