Revolution Drop top Sport bar
Heres some pics of the DT Sport bar we unveiled at camaro5fest. Everyone loved it , please feel free to like it or dump it comments , we love honest feedback either way.
These have been on pre order status but will start shipping next week , we had to work some bugs out on packaging and finding the best economical way to ship them out to folks. What do yall think ? we are thinking of scrapping the 3rd brake light , because there's already a few of them. Heres also a link to our preorder thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148334 Last edited by Service@RevolutionStyling; 05-21-2011 at 07:54 AM. |

On the fence...but I will say it looks really well made.
What about rearward visability through the mirror.?

Dont know that another brake light is needed in it. How hard are these to install? What kind of front splitter are on those maros?

Toe - thanks for your honest opinion. there was actually alot of late nights and back and forth sculpting on this product. It wasnt like our hood or Chin spoiler where it had to be one way or another.This thing took 4 different variants and this final design features alot of curved styling and yet has a nice crease to match perfectly with the Camaro's contemporary body lines.
Augie- Yes , im unofficially with your side on this one too , I feel we already have enough stuff going on with the trunk. But it does look great lighted up at night. I think we are working on a smoothie piece to relocate the factory 3rd so its not so repatitious. The install is so simple , 4 bolts in factory holes and 2 holes need to be drilled in the top panels and your done. |

Scott;
Have you mocked up one with IOM stitching yet like we discussed at C5Fest? Can you post some pics of inside the car with the top up? Suggestions; - Drop the brake light (or turn it off when the top is up) - Add ability to mount speakers inside the verticals - Add a dome light in the center (the OEM by the mirror doesn't light up much of the interior when the top is up) Like I'd said before, it's the best styled show bar I've seen yet and the mounting felt rock solid at the Fest.

Love it and will probably order eventually..
Kill the reak light though- big and redundant Does it interfere at all with the reclining/movement of the driver seat/headrest? any contact with the top going up/down resting? I'm having enough issues with "wear" marks, I'd hate to add another! and finally, price?

I like the look alot but the light has to go. Is this an actual roll bar or is it just cosmetic?
