Has anyone leased a new ZL1?
My neighbor has a new ZL1 waiting at the dealer and I was trying to figure out the cost for a lease over buying it.
Has anyone leased through GM? Or only outside institutions? Does anyone have residuals and MF for 2017 ZL1 coupe? I know it seems crazy but his wife wants him to lease it because when he buys, he never gets rid of them. |

I'm looking at leasing mine, thinking about doing a 39 month. I don't think I'll want to keep it. The personal property tax comes out of the deal less sales tax in the end.

Anyone else looking to lease? I ordered a ZL1 1LE and should be one of the first ones to get it. Has anyone had any good banks they've worked with that have given good MFs or residual values? What residuals are you all getting under length and miles. I'm in TX so leasing usually isn't the best option, but since I got a trade that will practically erase my tax owed, leasing may work here.

Gonna depend on the brand really. We just traded in our leased '15 Lexus RC350. We put $0 down on it. Had it 1.5 yrs. Traded it in on our Maserati 1.5 yrs early and broke even. I couldn't believe it. We actually got payoff for the first time in the history of us buying and trading in cars. Doubt that will happen with a Zl1. But, who cares right? Enjoy that bad boy!!!

I considered it. GM rate was 3.30 with 800 credit. Residual was 58% for 36 month term (and buyout was the same). Ended up buying as finance rate was 1.99 (brought my own) and May 1000 cash back, but strongly considered it given only first months payment down...

Does not appear GM Financial will be offering ZL1 1LE leases. Ally & US Bank may be a possibility like on Corvette. However the rates are dramatically higher.

I leased my ZL1
I leased my ZL1 Saturuday before last from Jack Schmitt Chevy in Wood River Illinois through GM Financial. Good, honest people, no "market adjustment" or other BS games or creative/magic math and they even picked me up at the St. Louis airport (about 30 minutes away from Wood River) Saturday morning.
I have a 39 Month Lease with 10,000 annual mileage limit. I got a 57% Residual with a 3.37% Lease Rate. Retail price was $65,800, I qualified for (and got) GM Military Pricing, another $3,500 in rebates & GM Card points and I also put an aditional $3,000 down. My monthly payment BEFORE my state & local sales tax is $648 per month. I have a little more long-winded version here at post #5: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497265

There's no way Chevy will lease a ZL1 1LE.

I don't know my rate and I'm pretty sure I don't care.
Residual is $37,xxx I traded my 2014 Camaro (15,000) GM Card points (1500) and put down 6000 cash. 39mo/12,000mile/yr. 800+ credit score. Payment: 347.00/mo
