Bf goodrich vs nitto

With the procharger on I definitely need to invest in better tires. I have a 10 in rear rim so I'm looking at 285 30 20 in either nitto nt555g2 or bfgoodrich ta kdw. Any input?

Do not get the NT555G2! I have them in 305/30r20 and have less traction than the stock tires. Ive let air out and tried different things, but the tires wont hold and my care is bone stock.

And here we go again...

The 555 is fine for DD and the occasional on-ramp. It will last you FAR longer than the OEM tire with a 320TW rating.

The TA KDW is an OLD tire. I would be surprised if the manufacture date was in the last 5-7 years.

The current BFG tire in the same category as the 555G2 is the GForce Sport Comp 2.

Is dry traction in a straight line your only consideration?

I knew the kdw has been around a while, but not stopped production therefore the manufacturer date actually being that old. And yes straight as possible, but need something that will be good on daily.

The KDW was discontinued by BFG more than a year ago. Retailers are selling stock now.

Again...what are you looking for? 'Daily' doesn't help much.

Fort Polk, LA?

Then you may want a aggressive tire that is good in the wet. You won't need to step down to an all-season because your temps don't stay <40F.

Price limit?
What is your front tire size?

You buying all 4? Might limit choices trying to match proper sizing.

I would do a 295-35-20 in mpss...make sure you get the 105y k1 Ferrari one though, it has a tread width of 12 inches, the Porsche version has a tread width of like 11.6

Toyo R888 ??? That's a full track tire. People should not daily drive this tire. Ok to drive to the track and back but not more than that.

Yep the R888 tire its a DOT tire so you can use it on and off the track street usage is common here I've used them in the dry and wet they fair well actually.

Same here...however I would consider stepping up to a wheel that will get you into 305-width tires. Hell I have a basically stock power-level car and I still can make the 305s spin if I hoon it.
