Great news. I hope it’s an isolated problem. Shouldn’t have reappeared in 2023. My 2022 didn’t have the problem. Overall it was a better built car than the 2023

Dealer called yesterday and said part was finally in. Dropped it off this morning for the new fuel line. Will update thread once I get the car back

Got my car back and confirmed the noise is resolved. Also noticed all hesitation on throttle was gone. Engine also feels smooth as it should above 3k RPM. Best of luck to all who are in the same boat!

It still shocks me that dealers are giving a hard time over this. It's fairly obvious when this is the issue. The problem is that there are so few ZL1s and so many dealerships.. best I can recommend is to find a dealer that has performed this before.

I can confirm that this fix is the solution, I have had no issues since.

Has anyone one who had the fuel line with the tick/rattle noise replaced notice a performance increase/just runs better after the repair? I am just curious if the (what I think is a faulty check valve) fuel line is restricting the fuel somehow.

Man that sucks, sorry! I wonder if the replacement part was bad.

I wonder if they are going to want to replace the HPFP now.

I followed up with my service advisor last week to get a status of the TSB fuel line that was backordered. He said it was still showing on backorder, but decided to check with his parts department since it was ordered before the strike. For some reason the order disappeared from the their ordering system and his parts department reordered it. This has apparently happened to other parts they had on order and may be strike related.

You may want to follow-up with your dealer and have them verify your fuel line is still on order.

Another week and my dealer tech advisor informed me today it is showing backordered on his end.
If anyone else has any info, please post up.
I would hate to have orders fall through the cracks as has been speculated.

I have a 2023 with a 7/23 build date. I had an SS before and never experienced this ticking noise. The noise developed around 3,000 miles. The car now has about 12,000 miles and it has headers, ported blower etc etc. This ticking noise gets really irritating at time but it doesn’t affect performance at all. As soon as I pass 1000rpm or so it quickly goes away. I’m wondering if 84404473 is truly the part that would fix this ticking issue as I’m looking to replace this myself.

Link to the part. Seems to be the only website that shows it in stock.
