Negative. It's always been a separate option.

$7,500 MSRP for the 1LE option on the 2018 ZL1 was announced however, isn't it premature to extrapolate $69,995 since full 2018 pricing has yet to be announced?

Thanks and when was full 2018 pricing released? Also, isn't the hood inset standard on the ZL1 1LE?

The ZL1 1LE doesn't have carbon ceramic brakes.

Having just played golf today, you're going to hate that "fixed" rear seat no one has mentioned. All to save a few pounds.

Sorry, it is official at $69,995: http://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/...amaro-zl1.html

So, it looks like the base MSRP went up $360 from 2017 to 2018.

Honestly if you take this ZL1 1LE, I calculated that it will have a curb weight od 3,823 pounds (3,883 pounds for manual ZL1 take away 60 pounds). Then add CC brakes (take away 30 pounds to 3,793 pounds), replace supercharged engine with N/A LT motor and strip the car down to get a weight in the 3,600 pound range and boom Z/28.
