Of all of the SoCal dealers that I dealt with, only 1 was over MSRP. Don't get me started regarding my GT350R buying experience.

It now makes sense why they didn't offer the A10... so they can keep the price down. If they did everyone would be complaining it's too high like the 5th Gen Z/28.

Hopefully dealers will remember the ADM, no-takers, experience with the Z/28s, and will want to avoid repeating that with the 1LE....We'll see.

2018 ZL1 1LE priced at $69,995, that is close to what the MSRP was for my maxed out ZL1 I just bought 2 months ago. All I can say is oops. Should have waited, maybe, maybe not. Maybe not get one if they only make 750 copies. Maybe I didn't mess up. Who knows...

Because it is an option package it might help availability. The wheel tire package will be popular.

The ADM is going to screw this car up so bad. Great job GM, too bad your dealer network is going to screw it up for you.

What a steal!!

Hold on cowboy, let's see what happens. I was expecting an ADM on my ZL1, the same as the GT350. But was pleasantly surprised to actually get thousands off.

mmmmmmm...Tasty treat.

Now we wait for GM to pick up the Workbench orders. Here's hoping my 1100 turns to something more exciting in the upcoming weeks.

PS...MSRP minus some preferred discounts. No ADM. I'm happy to give suggested retail to my dealer in exchange for one of the first to hit the track. All day long.

Does ADM not depend on how many buyers are out there? Suppose Nürburgring time for this car is around 7:16. This will surely draw the attention of many as it will mean it is the fastest GM car out there. And only second fastest american car ever.
Assuming GM is only making 750 vehicles. If you have over 2000 people lined up across the nation, what is a dealership going to do? They will markup really high. Each dealership may only get one or two, so they will surely sit on it if demand is high.

We do not really know how strong this demand is. All we have to gauge is people on this forum. There might be a lot more people that do not come on this forum that might be very interested. Those are the people that may have heard of it from Motortrend and/or Car and Driver.

Overall, I really am interested in hearing some real world reviews of this car from our members here. I am glad that initial pricing is out.

I don't view it this way. ADM can also be looked at as a loyalty or integrity thing. I have the ZL1 1LE locked in at MSRP at the very most. I thought that was what I was going to pay on the first ZL1 I got as it was really one of the first to hit the street, but the dealer snagged some incentives just as mine was coming off the assembly line and I got it for less than MSRP in December 2016. It's a relationship thing. Some dealers just won't gouge their customers. Buy from them.

That price isn't bad at all. It's a whole lot of performance for the dollar!
