Touch screen display issues

I have a 18 SS and towards the end of the August, I noticed when I would get in my car to leave work at the end of the day, the screen was very dark and you can’t really see it. I assumed this happened because it was extremely hot down here in south Louisiana. But it continued to happen everytime it was hot outside. I was finally able to bring it to the dealership and of course them claimed it didn’t do it for them after keeping it for a week. So I showed them pics of the screen and the service guy was like wow you can’t see the screen. So they kept it for another week and they replaced the display. So I picked my car up 2 days ago, and today it got up to about 85 and it did it again. The only difference this time is after it cooled down some the screen went back to the normal brightness. I plan on bringing it back to the dealership on Monday, because it’s clearly not fixed.
Has anyone else had issues like this?

Dash sensor for auto lights tripping due to heat? Putting you in nighttime mode?

Random thought...

Does the brightness adjustment knob to the left of the steering wheel work? If yes, your dash and your infotainment screen are in night mode and the sunlight sensor may be broken.

You have something on your dash. You're not accidentally blocking the sunlight sensor are you?

The adjustment knob still works for the rest of the car.

The towel on the dash wasn’t blocking it, I had just put it up there to block the ac from the windshield that fogs up and makes it extremely hard to see the road when I’m driving into the sun first thing in the morning.
