Oh man! That's awful. Do you know if insurance is going to help you?

I would think so, I have full coverage on it through Geico and they've been pretty good with me when someone wrecked into my parked Cobra and totalled it but I would imagine my trade in value is going to suffer. Feel completely sick

Are you still in a loan on it? Maybe you can get insurance to total it and just use the proceeds toward purchasing a 6th Gen SS. If insurance refuses to repair, what i personally would do is search for a 17 - 18 Certified Pre-Owned 2SS, you can grab them 10k off their brand new MSRP fairly easily. Otherwise look for rebates on a 19 to help cover the loss in value of your car.

I do still owe on the loan, I'd say the damage is probably 5k nowhere close enough to total. If it worked out that way and the gap insurance also came through it'd be some kind of divine intervention lol but hey ya know fingers crossed for a somewhat happy ending some way or another 🤞🏽

for me the big deciding factor would be 2 things. which look you like better? What options you prefer? I personally like the front aggressive look of the 16 to 18's and the tail lights of 16 to 18's. I would never buy a car again without heated steering or cooled leather seats. Thats just my opinion.

The '19 looks every bit as good as the older Camaro. But the used 17 SS, if in good shape with low mileage, Is a much smarter purchase. You will enjoy the 2SS even more along with saving tons of depreciation.

the used price is way too high compared to to getting a new 1ss for cheaper. used car should be chunk cheaper than new car.

Go new, get the warranty. Newer will also have the best finance rates if you are financing. Great choice on the manual transmission!
