2010 SS L99 lsa swap questions

I have all parts to convert to ls3 and I'm using BTR stage 2 PD cam. I was wondering how car would perform with that cam before I get blower put on. I do have the blower, but I need a few parts to finish the build. Tuning is not an issue its free..
Thanks in advance Kirk

It should be a nice bump in power for the time being. I would wait it out though since you're going to have to pull the balancer again to do the blower. It would be easier to do it all at once. If you need any other parts for your LSA set up let us know. We can get stock or aftermarket balancers, pulleys, heat exchangers and more.

Ditto, do it all at once. That is what I did when I did my LSA conversion 4 years ago...

I've been under the assumption that there are bracket kits out there that allow you to use all stock Camaro accessory drive including the stock balancer.
Thanks Kirk

Yep, ADM included it with their kit. I believe they sell it on its own...

Thanks Kirk
if you're taking the balancer off for 'just' a cam... at least pin the crank while its off...

Anytime!

Here is the install guide:

https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=514480

I happen to have that pulley setup with spare pulleys (upgraded to full 3 belt LSA so don’t need it)...

$150 shipped PayPal goods and services ;o)

Does it matter that my LSA is used from a CTS-V, as far as belt spacing?

Fish-man, that was the plan, to pin the balancer during the cam swap, but others in this thread had said that the balancer had to come back off for blower. Was confused but hammdo cleared it up for me... Thanks Kirk

If your using the LS3 accessories/brackets and LS3 harmonic balancer, no. Mine is an LSA block but I upgraded the water pump, accessory brackets, and balancer to to the LSA setup while keeping the LS3 accessories. Otherwise, you’ll need an LS3 water pump and balancer to make it work with the LS3 accessories/brackets along with the ADM pulley setup. IF your LSA engine came with the accessory brackets, you may be in luck!

Also, if yours is a ‘true’ LSA (block) and your dropping in the engine to replace your current LS3/L99, make sure you have a compatible flywheel as the LS3/L99 flywheel is different than the LSAs...

3 years never had an issue, then did a forged/stroked LSA build from GPI - at that point went with 3 belt setup.
