Upgrading to a 6th gen ZL1
So my current 2013 ZL1 is on the way to a new owner and my order for a 6th gen ZL1 has the allocation approved and order placed. Now just waiting on GM to pick it up. Went with a Garnet Red Tintcoat, exposed CF hood, PDR (I like doing track days), sunroof (went back and forth on it, but the wife and I enjoy them and the car is going to a be a road trip/track car just like the last one), and mylink with nav.
Now I wait. Will need to find some lowering springs for it and a CAI pretty soon after it arrives. Can't wait to see how this one does around NCM track cause the 2013 was fantastic.

Congratulations! You didn't mention what tranny, but I'm assuming it's a manual since you said the allocation has been approved and your last one was an M6.

Yes, it is an M6. A10 seems awesome, but I like manuals.

Manuals usually are a lot more fun, but I believe the A10 is going to be a really fun auto, and definitely a track beast, so I'm giving it a shot. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
Nice color choice by the way. I was really on the fence between the blue and garnet.

Yeah, I was going back and forth on the gray and the garnet and the wife liked the garnet better, so went that direction. The A10 is going to be crazy good on a track, but I just couldn't change from a manual expecially with rev match.

I may have to test drive a car with rev match, because that looks and sounds so cool! I've always had to match revs with my foot and that can be tough to do on some cars because the brake and gas pedals just aren't aligned right to make it easy.

You'll love it. I never drive without it activated and purposefully upshift just so I can downshift seconds later.

I'll wait and stick with the dealership I have gotten the last 3 vehicles from. They were honoring supplier pricing for me before December, but I had just missed the November allocation as I was waiting on the CF interior package to be available. Technically, I started this process with them in October and three days after November allocations I decided against the interior package.
I am in no rush, won't really be able to dive it the next few months much anyway.

I traded in a 15 ZL1 on my Garnet red tint coat 17 ZL1. I am really impressed with this new one. My wife wanted us to have the new one once she saw the Gen 6 ZL1. Get the color and the options that you want. I settled with the color on my 15 and was never truly happy with the car. It's too much money to not be totally satisfied. Just my opinion.
