OK, enough dyno runs...lets see some 1/4mile times

Come on guys, get some miles on your car and lets see some track times! I would have to think faster then what Chevy advertised being i have seen SS cars with only CAI on stock tires run 12.0/11.9. So with nearly 175hp more has to be good for at least a second at those speeds

Yes imo it's going to be a disappointment if a SS can be capable of mid 11's with few mods. Then a ZL1 is only good for three or four tenths. I realize a ZL1 is way more than straight line oriented but that's seems to be the more popular attraction.

They are open here in Texas and I've seen a lot of ZL1's delivered in Texas.

It's 25 degrees here and the road crews have already started spraying mag chloride on the freeways. The warm weather ZL1 owners will have to carry the load for awhile.

Good runs for the M6 SS is 12.3 -12.5
Good runs for the A8 SS is 12.0 -12.2

So if the ZL1 can get 11.5-11.8 for the M6 and 11.2-11.5 for the A8 I would say those are awesome numbers. Driver mod, track conditions, DA will def have to lined up for the lowest numbers. All stock, from factory of course lol

Not sure it can be 1 sec faster than an SS but that would sure be impressive!

Seeing how GM claims the A10 will do 11.4 on a non-prepped surface, it will likely be very close to 1 second faster than the A8 SS on a well prepped track.
