Hi all
I have a vanilla 2SS and I'm wondering if all the cool little 1LE software bits are kicking around in my ECU and just aren't unlocked or if it's possible to flash the ECU with the 1LE software onto the ECU.

TBH I don't even know what the 1LE has that the stock 2SS doesn't. I can activate "competition mode" which gives me launch control but I don't know if there's anything else worth having in there...

nope not possible only thing 1le has that your 2ss doesnt have is elsd and bigger brakes and recaro seats

So my ZL1 has all of that already but it is not a 1LE because it is a convertible, is there an upgrade for me?

You can get Recaros and Magride in a non-1LE SS as stand-alone options, along with the bigger brakes. The only thing truly exclusive to the 1LE is the eLSD and the different spring and swaybar rates, and the Magride is tuned differently to match those. You can, however, swap the MRC module from an SS 1LE into a non-1LE car and it will work as plug-n-play and increase the damping rates to those of the 1LE.

The 1LE package for the ZL1 is a very different kettle of fish than it is on the SS. It's a massive difference in suspension hardware and spring rates. A "plain" non-1LE already has the diff and similar suspension tuning to the SS 1LE. What kind of upgrades are you really looking for?

I saw posting about a software change for suspension on ZL1 non-1LE for better handling because the majority of the components are already installed. I do not have the camera but I do have magride and big brakes. I guess I really don't know what I am asking for.

There are so many differences between the ZL1 and ZL1 1LE that the software and control hardware both would not interchange at all.
