I've never heard anywhere that you're not supposed to polish it or clay it.

I use Adam's spray detailer on my Camaro and hellcat, which are both ceramic coated, and they both come out looking amazing without any shadows or weirdness in the paint.

If you search for ceramic coating removal you will come up with clay and polish as methods of removal.

I told my PPF installer this morning not to ceramic coat the 350R. Just PPF, wax and seal.

He said it would run between $1000-$1500 every 3-5 years to reapply the ceramic coating.

Doesn't sound like a reasonable thing for me to spend money on if I maintain the cars regularly like I do during the season and then do a thorough detail and wax every winter.

I'm glad I ran across your post about how you wouldn't ceramic coat again, thank you for sharing that information.
