Drag Racing wheel and tire combo

I have a 2018 ZL1 A10. Does anyone have a wheel and tire combo size and manufactures?

Do you want to go with a 15 inch setup on the rear? if so you need to change some stuff. If you dont want to change anytime a 17 inch rim will work on the back and an 18 inch rim on the front. This front tire is impressive as well... you would think a skinny front tire would handle like crap! These are awfully good!

Here is what I did and it worked well;

OP I did the same thing as 2018ZL1 on the back except I did the 10.5" width. No skinnies for me. Those ET Street S/Ses hook pretty well and aren't too bad on the street @32 pounds. Almost as good of a compromise tires as NT555Rs. But the Nitto sizes are too tall for the ZL1.

If you buy those Drag Stars make sure you lightly grease the barrel of the Special Chevy lugs. Otherwise they are a PIA to get to torque. And I ma told the torque on these lugs should be 90-100 instead of the 140 Chevy recommended. More info in my build thread. But don't expect miracles with the DRs IF you can get a low 1.7 you are doing good. There is even a slight ZL1 A10 bog to protect that expensive diff.

I still have yet to get under 1.7 even on DRs. And my MPH runs from 123-126 at Atco and 124-129 @ Cecil in the same air. :( That does

You going big?

I just won't do LTs on this car and the stock Cat has a 2" restriction from what I understand. So if only someone would make a highflow cat to replace the fronts. I suppose the back cat is less restrictive.

Thats pretty much where I was at on the 60Ft... 1.698 was my best! I am working on some things with Ted J. I am trying E60 with my combo and with the 15% pulley I am running out of fuel! I installed the JMS voltage booster and it still wont keep up! Not sure why I thought I could run E fuels with my combo without replacing the fuel system! I think that will be my next upgrade. I went with the ARH 2 inch no cats back to the stock NPP. Its LOUD!

TM is the Devil. On my last trip to the track, I ran an 11.05 with a 1.74 60', 11.02 on a 1.70 60', then ran an 11.05 with a 1.66 60' on the stock tires. It appears that TM decided to end the party for what should've been a 10.9? pass.

You definitely should've ran a 10.95 or better if all other conditions were the same.

I had to double check my timeslips and revise what I posted. I was off by a couple hundreds. I do agree that it should've been at least a 10.95 if the soup nazi (Seinfeld) hadn't shown up. lol
