about to hit 1500 miles, now what?

So I'm about to hit 1500 miles, breakin was difficult but I'm almost done with it, finally! I will change the oil and rear diff at 1500. Then I'd like to open her up.

Should I do some hard pulls, gradually getting the RPM's up pull after pull?
Should I just hit it and go as hard as I can through the gears?

What do you all think?

Drive it hard, you just spent 1500 miles easing into the motor. No need to keep doing it.

I was opening mine up on the day I picked it up. I picked it up and my sales lady and I took it to fill it with fuel. This way I knew I was getting good stuff in the tank.
The third street I turned on the car was sideways for about a block. She was basically screaming and laughing.
My car maybe uses a half litre in about 3000 miles. If that. And it does get driven pretty hard.
I would say start romping on it. Like immediately.

I agree. Bring up the oil temperature gauge on the DIC, and wait until the needle moves to the right.

1. Get a new set of rear tires on order.
2. Make sure engine is up to temp.
3. Let her eat.

5th, pop the clutch
6th, floor it and smoke the tires

Yeah, I hear ya. I've been patiently waiting for the break-in period to be over, I have not babied her but I also have not gone WOT. It's an A10 so no "dumping the clutch" but I plan on having just as much fun!

Oops, I read your post, but didn't notice the A10. I know I am loving the A10 in my truck.
