S$&#% remote trunk popper!

My large and numb fingers keep hitting the trunk release on the remote when I turn the key, is there a delay setting for the remote trunk release? Most cars I've had with this feature had a 2 second delay, this one seems to be instantaneous.

Thats weird. I know mine's delay because I usually hit that before the remote start. Says so right on the fob.
Damn, too tired to try and resize that.

It could be lying. My fob buttons dont work when it's in the ignition though.

Mine does not say hold. Also, I have a stick, so no remote start.

I have noticed that the buttons do not work when the car is running, have not tried with the key just in the ignition.

They'll give you back a stand-alone key and your fob without the switchblade...so you'll still have a busted button. :(

You can't do a single FOB. They won't do the recall without both FOBs.

Just went through this with the wifes Grand Prix.

I bought the car used. It's the only fob I got. Yeah, that's it, that's the ticket.

There is also an electrical solution for this. Makes it so that you need to hit the button twice for it to work.

I took in a single fob and walked out with 4 keys.
