Need help choosing SLP for L99

I've listened to all the videos, but I'm looking for some input from people who actually have the SLP exhausts.
I've narrowed it down to either Loud Mouth or Loud Mouth II, but I just can't decided. So if you have either of these on an L99 please post up your thoughts.

*My main concerns with the Loud Mouth is the interior drone (how bad?), and just overall noise (I live in a tightly grouped neighborhood, no other performance cars on the block...will it really annoy people?)

I had SLP before on an '02 Grand Am (don't laugh, it sounded great, especially with headers). But there was only one to choose from back then.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I can't help you with the L99 question, but I love the sound you get out of a LMII.

Mmmm... Love it. But I'm not doing headers. So that throws off the judging.

Doesn't that void the warranty?

Does the loud mouth get rid of the 10 foot (about 4 foot actually) resenator under the L99? Or do the clips you hear have them on or off? On my L99 we put a six speed exhaust on it with small resenators the deleted muffler, drown not bad nor the afm.

But will be going with slp headers back to loud mouth eventually.

I put Loud Mouth II on my Camaro and original Loud Mouth on my 08' Vette. Both are LS3's and the original Loud Mouth sounds way better IMO. Not to hyjack but does anyone want to trade original LM for LM II? Or does anyone know if you can just buy the mufflers for the system?

I have the Loudmouth I setup on my SS, and I love it. The drone is not bad at all. This car is so well insulated that you only really hear it when you really accelerate hard. It isn't overly loud or obnoxious, just deep and mean!

just got the loudmouth 2 installed. The sound is very deep, but it's not as loud as i thought it would be(roommate said the same thing)..they started it up right after a 2000hp viper! ha so it's probably not a fair judgement of the exhaust. i would say there is no drone inside at all.

I too got the loudmouth I but IMO you could do it cheaper by going to your local exhaust shop and hooking up straight pipe there. Then buy yourself a CAI with the change. But it does sound great and a easy install if you have a sawz-all. It did tend to drone with AFM kicking in but I did away with that with the superchip and second gear scratch is always fun.

i went with the loudmouth on my L99 and they are right, the AFM drone after the muffler delete is pretty annoying. i turned it off with the diablo tune and it sounds a lot better (yes it does void warranty i believe. the tuner saves your stock settings but i'm not sure if GM can still see that you've flashed it before). it's also not too loud inside.

my friend made a quick video of me leaving work one day because i wanted to hear it from the outside.

I like the way that sounds driving away. But I'm not too interested in a tune that'll void the warranty. Hmm....
