Fellas,

Thanks for the additional photos and info, you’ve given me something to think about. I’d really like to buy this product if I can figure out which one will serve me best and that isn’t too heavy for me to handle. Really appreciate the info, keep it coming if you have any more.

Thanks,
Chris

I ended up getting the BL5000-SLX after a lot of reading and measuring, it works fine spanning the rear to the rearmost front pad and the vehicle is very stable in this position. As the EXT will not fit smaller vehicles and a big hit was the extra 20lbs of weight over the SLX as I do have to carry them. I also purchased the extension and SUV kit with the cost savings, I have never used the extension kit and probably never will. The SUV option is of limited value, I have a first gen Toyota Tundra and it lifts it off the ground maybe six inches at best, it may work better on SUV's. Got mine from Home Depot of all places $1100 delivered. If you're using the clamp on lift blocks stick with the included rubber blocks that come with it they work fine.

(quick jack and jack stands)
Go back in the history to this title. It is currently on page 97. Look at post #28 to see the glides that DANACO made for me. The thread started on 11/16/2018.

Sent DANACO a PM to see if he's interested in making some more, perhaps a group buy?

I might be interested if he ships to Canada, and I can get my Quickjack to work. Currently waiting on Quickjack to send me a new pump.

Can anyone actually confirm the real jack point locations and the inches spread? Maybe from a service manual or something along those lines? Because I feel like the ZLE is different than the picture of the underside of that 2016 SS floating around.

I'm getting roughly a 58" spread on my ZLE.

I get 68.5” from the center of my front jack pad to the center of my rear jack pad. There are two pinch weld locations on the front. I have my jack pad on the one closer to the front of the car.

Another happy customer of the QuickJack. Went with the 5000SLX. Also ordered the extension, but it's not needed.

No problem lifting the car with the front points under the mirror. Was under it today to do the trans fluid swap and it made life so much easier.

Agree with Warrior102 and others re standard 5000. We use the 5000 standard model (SLX) for both ZL1 1LE and standard ZL1 with bolt on pinch weld pads 53" -54" on center. Rock solid, even with a person in the car and car running. We still put 2 safety stands under the front most jack pads with quick Jack @ full lift for ease of mind.

I have had the 5000SLX for 2 years now and love them, I bought extra adapter pads and they have worked fine on all my cars

When done I just tuck them away on the end of the garage
