Did my first event in the car yesterday. Stock including the SC3s. I was impressed by how well the car handles including slaloms, especially for how much it weighs. The SC3s gripped better than I imagined they would too.
Found I liked the car best in Track, with MRC in Sport mode with TC fully disabled. Tires at 28psi all around seemed to feel decent. Going to see if I can get some more negative camber dialed in before the next event. Was impressed how easily catchable it was especially after a few years away from regularly autocrossing RWD. I like the data from PDR but much prefer a view that shows hands.

First event since March and adding the Camber plates and tune, and 3rd in the car. Also put it in snow mode at some point during the day, and didn't notice it until after my runs. Thought it might be heat soak since it's the first time I've run it in the heat, but nope just whatever the snow mode does. Left a good amount of time out there, really still getting comfortable in the car and where the grip is.
I put the pressure all the way down to 24F 20R since they weren't rolling over much. That's starting to get really low, and I feel like there should be some negatives, but the car seemed to like it. There was a fairly even 6-10 degree surface temp difference from the outside to the inside of the tire.

Got an alignment for mine the other day. Really happy with the camber numbers. My 'old' 2017 Civic Si couldn't even get -1* in the front. For reference, mine had the front LCAs replaced and the dealer had about -1.3* in the front. My tech friend was able to get -2.4F without much issue.
Unfortunately he found a leaking shock (driver rear) and a leak near the diff. Not sure how the PPI or I missed this last one. Still under warranty so have an appointment to get them both looked at. Hopefully both will be replaced in time for my next event next weekend.

Got out to a high speed autocross this weekend to learn the car a bit more. Still stock tires and no bar. Top PAX both days and hitting mid 90's MPH. Car is a beast!

Probably removing/disconnecting the rear sway bar.

I think in street class you're allowed one roll bar change to adjust the handling balance, but you would never remove or disconnect it.

You are allowed to change one. In my STR (where you can change both bars) S2000 I liked the feeling of a bigger front sway and no rear bar. It's not that uncommon.

Surely he means no aftermarket bar, but both stock sway bars remain in place.

Is there a go-to bar for the SS1LE? BMR?

The two popular options are the BMR adjustable and the Hotchkis adjustable. Hotckis' website gives out the wrong info on the rates of their bar: it's the same outer diameter and similar arm length as the BMR, but much thicker walled. So it's a stiffer bar overall. The BMR bar is only 6% stiffer than the 1LE bar in its softest setting, and gets stiffer from there, which is probably a good bet for a car where you can only change one bar per the rules. The BMR bar is shipping with suspect frame bushings. There's a thread on that here, along with likely solutions. So it's fair to say that neither company completely has their act together.

Started getting a long brake pedal after a few back to back runs. Brakes didn't really seem that hot though. Anyone else see that happening? It got better through the rest of the first day and was okay for the 2nd day. Maybe first good heat cycle on the stock pads?
