Eibach Convertible R&D

Do we have any Convertible's in the LA area, who can let Eibach use their car for R&D to create a set of convertible springs. Please reply or send me a PM.

You list the Eibach lowering springs in your description, do you like them and would you recommend them to others?

I love them but I want my rear offset to be a little more aggressive. I can’t because the rear springs tuck my wheel and I run a 305/35/20. They need to calculate the weight and proper spring rate for convertibles. The springs are “rated” for convertibles.

I’m still running the stock tire so shouldn’t be an issue, ordered the springs today can’t wait to put them on, have you heard about any warranty issues with GM about the springs?

Stock Tire

Michelin 295/30/20

Toyo 305/35/20

Even with a 30 series tire with a little poking, if I hit a bump, the car would hit the tire. So I’m thankful the wheel tucks in.

That Michelin looks perfect, did it ride well?

Drsagacity, do you get any rubbing with that size tire and the lowering springs? I've got those size tires on my convertible and would love to drop it just a bit.

Nope. No rubbing. I didn’t even need to move the wiring harness for these.

In fact, when these tires are done, I will go to the 315 drag radials, but I will probably have to move the harness for those.

I am running a 335/30/20 rear tire and they look good fill the gap well. But the front 285/30/20 I can almost stick me head in there. Anyone run just the lowering springs in the front, any ill effects?

So I went with BMR on the rear and the car sits perfect with a 305/35/20 on a 20x11” wheel! The car rides much smoother and no scraping of the cross Members! BMR FTW!!
