Loudest Camshaft for SS

I want the camshaft with the loudest idling sound and if you believe there's a camshaft that's overall better than the loudest camshaft suggest that as well.

Thanks!

Just run 3" straight pipe. Cost you $200.
Save yourself $4000

That'll do it. Or an MBRP Race.

Maybe he meant lopiest?

For lope, overlap is your friend. Large separation in intake to exhaust duration and a tight lobe separation. I don't have enough experience with these motors to give any actual specs. You will need a converter if you are A8. Compression has some to do with the cam sound but your exhaust it the biggest determiner of actual volume.

since we are not talking about HP or performance ect, the biggest cam for cheap would be a comp cam say 224 / 236 on a 116 keep the stock rev limiter and it will SOUND bad action... with no other parts to back it up expect: huge loss of power in the midrange.. low end part throttle will be terrible. 423-13 is the part number for you.

Here is my car with cam running wide open, if you want loud just get the cutouts, i can not drive on highway with cutouts open, everything in the car vibrates from the sound.

Thanks Oldman lol, but at 143 in that video i closed the valves to tour mode and you can gear the obvious difference in sound. Something I noticed is that with the cutouts open you cannot hear the cam chopping, with it closed and running through mufflers you can hear the chop.

Sigh. Wish I could just figure out just a Cam...smallish is fine. I am more into the Sound.
Don't need the upper rpm.
BTR makes one. Is this small? 22? In / .22? Ex @.50. .60x .60x. 114+6 (is the +6 ICL)
Part# is 2242328146.... almost like the real duration is the part# ??

all parts of post, I thought that only happens with the Oldlady: cheap, chop, rpm limit with stock springs or the loss of mid range power and poor part throttle tip in... LOL Comp itself list the cam as losing power in the midrange. I merely speculate that a 292 duration cam on a small block is going to have poor part throttle tip in.... same duration I run on my bored and stroked 440 BTW... I will say "poor" is relative, would you be OK as not as good as the phenomenal stock drive-ability? Still better than a stock LS3... probably... better then a 5.0 yep.

Don't forget the gear drive timing chain replacement; that sounds bad ass too.

I’m looking for opposite ...

I’m about to cam my cause but want to switch to exhaust which can tone down the volume in tour mode ..

What would be better Stainless Works or Borla SType ?
